Welcome friends! I know policies aren't the greatest reading material, but they are set in place to protect our business, products, and customers. Thank you for taking some time to read through them. Machine wash inside out on cold, preferably with phosphate free detergent (to preserve color) & hang dry for longest wear. We know life with littles is busy though, so tumble drying is just fine too. Due to the water based eco friendly inks there can be some slight fading if care instructions aren't followed. Our fabrics are prewashed to prevent shrinking.
PAYMENT | POLICY
We accept debit & credit cards. PayPal is a third party credit card processor that keeps all of your transaction information secure. You do *not* need your own PayPal account to use the service. If you have questions about how this works we'll be happy to assist you.
We do not accept Money Orders or Checks.
When you make a purchase through Alpine Baby Co., you can expect your item to ship within 2-3 weeks. Most of the time it will be within a few days but when we have large volumes or are waiting on fabric it can take up to 3 weeks so please be prepared for this. We use a first class shipping option- and to most United States locations, will arrive within 3-4 business days. If you need a RUSH order, please email us BEFORE your purchase!
If you need an item right away, send a message. Over 99% of the time we are able to fulfill your request. DO NOT wait more than 12 hours to then purchase the item, or we will no longer guarantee having it to you in time. We cannot "hold" items for anyone.
We do not offer any cancellations at this time, once an order is placed it goes in to the processing stage and can't be canceled, as each time is made to order!
SHIPPING | POLICY
SHIPPING WITHIN THE UNITED STATES
Alpine Baby Co. ships via USPS and Ready to Ship pieces leave our shop in 72 hours or less in most cases (orders placed on weekends/holidays and pre-order pieces may take a little longer). Shipping costs are approximated and include the actual cost of shipping plus a small amount to cover the cost of shipping supplies and materials. If you would like to place a large order I'll be happy to work with you to adjust the shipping price, but you must email us first to arrange this.
If you need an item within a few days, we would love to fulfill that request for you. Please send a message and let us know how soon you need it. If the item requires additional postage, we will tag it onto your specified order.
All of our items can be shipped to Canada and Australia and the approximated shipping price for Canada is given along with a standard "Everywhere Else" listing that is based on shipping to the mailing zone farthest from our location (Australia). If the shipping price turns out to be significantly less to ship to your destination I will refund the difference via PayPal. International shipping can take up to 6 weeks depending on customs etc. WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ITEMS ONCE THEY LEAVE OUR STORE, INCLUDING LOST OR STOLEN MAIL.
* Please note that we do not pay any duties, customs fees, or any other associated fees. These are the responsibility of the buyer if their country charges these types of fees. Please be aware of customs information including any fees that may be incurred on your end before purchasing. This information can be found at your local post office or on the web. Every country varies. If you have any questions or concerns about these policies please let us know and I'll be happy to explain further.
Tracking confirmation is put on every package that leaves Alpine Baby Co. You will be notified of the tracking number in an email after the item has shipped. Unfortunately we cannot put tracking on International orders- only a Customs number. We are not responsible for any item that leaves the United States and has become "lost" or "untraceable". However, we will do our best to work with you on any lost package issues.
REFUND | POLICY
We DO NOT accept returns unless the item is defective.
Please make sure you double check our sizing guidelines posted above BEFORE you purchase.
EXCHANGES: We will gladly exchange an UNWORN item in the original packaging within 30 DAYS of customer receipt of item. Please email email@example.com to arrange the exchange process. Once the item has been received and inspected, we will ship the exchange item to you. There is a $5 restocking fee for each item exchanged.
If you need a refund/exchange due to a mistake on our part (defective or damaged)- contact firstname.lastname@example.org immediately and we will resolve the mistake within a timely manner.
ADDITIONAL | POLICIES
We work with natural and unique materials, our pieces sewn individually and handmade. As such, please note it is not always possible to *exactly* replicate a piece due to minor pattern variations and availability of materials. PATTERN PLACEMENT WILL VARY AND WE WILL NOT ACCEPT A RETURN BECAUSE YOU DON'T LIKE THE PATTERN PLACEMENT, OR ITS NOT LIKE THE ONE PICTURED.

Alpine Baby Co. offers discounts for those of you who would like to purchase 20 or more items in a single order. Please contact us for details if you would like to know more. Due to the way we ship large orders, additional shop-wide discounts or free shipping offers do not apply.
